Konnected Electricians Pty Ltd (ABN 39 703 502 075), based in Hoxton Park NSW 2171, collects some personal information so we can quote, do and follow up on electrical work, and to hire people for our team. This page explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or callback: your name, phone number, email, address or suburb, postcode, details about the job, and any photos you send us (for example, your switchboard).
When you apply to join the team: your name, contact details, suburb, licence level, experience, driver's licence status, and your résumé.
When you call, text or email us: what you tell us and your contact details.
When you use our website: general information about your visit, such as pages viewed and the type of device, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).

How we use it

To reply to you, quote, book and do the job.
To invoice and keep job records.
To follow up after a job, for example a review request, a check-in, or a reminder when testing is due. You can ask us to stop these at any time.
To consider you for a role, and to keep your details on file for future roles unless you ask us to delete them.
To understand how our website is used and to improve our advertising.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services we use to run the business, such as our website and form host (Netlify), job management (ServiceM8), accounting (Xero), email (Google) and, for website analytics and advertising, Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Some of these providers store information outside Australia. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website may use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. These use cookies to tell us how people find and use the site, and to show our ads to people who may be interested. They don't give us your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings.

How we look after it

We keep your information in password-protected accounts and only use it for the reasons above. We keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires, for example for tax, and delete information we no longer need.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it. Call us on 0419 624 942 or email konnectedelectricians@gmail.com.

Concerns

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll sort it out. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
