Common questions about security camera installs

Do you need a licence to install security cameras in NSW?

Yes. NSW Police says anyone installing security cameras for a client needs a Class 2C security licence, even if they're a licensed electrician. We hold NSW Security Licence S00015273, Class 2B and 2C.

Can I watch my security cameras on my phone?

Yes. Most systems run through the manufacturer's app, so you can watch live and play back footage. We set it up on your phone and show you how before we leave.

Wired or wireless security cameras?

We generally supply and install wired cameras. No flat batteries, and no dropouts on patchy wifi.

Where should security cameras go?

Usually the entries, driveway and side gates, pointed at your property rather than the neighbours'. We work out the positions with you on site.
